Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 4:45pm (35 hours per week)
Pay Rate: Circa £35 per hour + 12.07% holiday pay (PAYE, weekly)
We are working with a respected and forward-thinking further education college in Lewisham to recruit a passionate and skilled Level 1 Multi‐Skills Lecturer. The college is committed to providing high‐quality technical education, supporting learners in developing hands‐on skills across multiple trades including carpentry, plumbing, and basic electrical. This is an ongoing temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver engaging and practical Level 1 Multi‐Skills lessons to learners aged 16+
- Monitor student progress and support achievement in line with curriculum standards
- Assess and track learners' development through both formative and summative assessments
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent)
- An Assessing Qualification (e.g., TAQA, A1, D32/33)
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
- Prior experience teaching Multi‐Skills in a Further Education setting
