Think FE are proud to be advertising this opportunity on behalf of a well‐established and student‐focused college in Northampton, who are seeking a dedicated Exams Manager to lead and coordinate their central Exams service. The Exams team is a vital part of the college's infrastructure, supporting academic success through the efficient and compliant delivery of assessments across all departments. This is a rewarding leadership role for someone with a strong background in examinations who thrives on detail, organisation, and supporting young people through a critical stage in their education.

You will manage all aspects of the exam cycle, lead a small team, and collaborate across departments to ensure exam processes are delivered efficiently and in line with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage internal and external examinations
  • Ensure full compliance with JCQ and Awarding Organisation regulations
  • Supervise and support the Exams team
  • Coordinate invigilation and access arrangements
  • Maintain accurate records and exam data
  • Liaise with curriculum staff, students, and external bodies
  • Create an organised and supportive exam environment
