The Role
- You will deliver engaging and industry-relevant teaching across Level 1 to Level 5 programmes, including BTEC qualifications and T Levels.
- You will support learners to develop both technical knowledge and employability skills, preparing them for progression into higher education or the workplace.
- Teaching across Level 1 to Level 5 Computing (BTEC and T Level).
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet diverse learner needs.
- Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.
- Supporting students with their academic and personal development.
- Contributing to curriculum development and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Computing (degree strongly preferred due to Level 5 teaching).
- Experience teaching in further education, ideally with BTEC and/or T Level programmes.
- Strong subject knowledge across core computing topics.
- Relevant industry experience in computing or IT.
- Passion for teaching and supporting learner success.
Desirable
- Teaching Qualification (TQ) or willingness to work towards one.
- Experience delivering T Levels (although BTEC-only experience will also be considered).
