The Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson you don t need teaching experience! If you re qualified to at least Level 2 in Carpentry or Brickwork and have solid, hands-on industry experience across both trades, the college will support you with full teacher training.
You ll:

  • Deliver practical and classroom-based sessions on the Carpentry and Brickwork T Level
  • Share your expertise and passion for the trades, helping students develop technical skills and workplace readiness
  • Work within a supportive team that values your industry knowledge

You will need:

  • Level 2 qualification (minimum) in Carpentry or Brickwork
  • Substantial industry experience covering both trades
  • Commitment to training and developing young people for the future workforce
  • No teaching experience needed just a willingness to learn and share your expertise

What s on Offer:

  • Salary of £33,487 £39,941 per annum
  • You could also be eligible for a £6,000 tax-free payment available for new teachers in technical subjects
  • Excellent holiday allowance of 44 days plus bank holidays and christmas closure
  • Fantastic pension scheme for which the employer contributions are a massive 28.68% or your salary
