An Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ college in Cambridgeshire is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join their dynamic Construction Department. This is a rewarding, hands-on role supporting learners with a range of additional needs as they work towards their qualifications and personal goals.

Your Responsibilities

  • Supporting students to achieve their individual learning targets, including those outlined in Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Adapting classroom resources to suit diverse learning needs—this could include enlarging text, breaking down instructions, or offering creative learning solutions.
  • Working one-to-one with students to review and personalise their support, ensuring it stays effective and relevant.

About You

We’re looking for someone with a genuine passion for helping young people achieve their potential. Experience in learning support or SEND environments is ideal, and additional qualifications in areas such as Level 3 Learning Support, Moving and Handling, or Dyslexia are beneficial but not essential. Most importantly, you’ll bring energy, patience, and adaptability to your work every day.
