Think FE is working closely with a well‐established and forward‐thinking college in North Yorkshire, known for its inclusive ethos, excellent student support, and strong links with local health & social care employers. This college is now looking for a passionate and experienced Health & Social Care Lecturer to join their team on a long‐term basis, starting as soon as possible.
The Role
You will be delivering engaging and effective teaching across Level 1 to Level 3 Health & Social Care. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to student success and support learners in developing the skills they need to progress into further study or the workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Health & Social Care courses at Levels 1 to 3
- Prepare high‐quality teaching materials in line with the curriculum
- Support and engage students from a wide range of backgrounds
- Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with curriculum staff and leadership to ensure teaching excellence
Essential Criteria
- Experience in health & social care sector
- Level 3 in health & social care
- A passion for teaching and inspiring students
- Some teaching experience of any kind
Desirable
- Relevant degree or professional qualification in Health & Social Care
- Experience with classroom management and online delivery platforms
- Teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent)
- Experience delivering Health & Social Care in an FE setting
