Location: Greater Manchester

Salary: £30,000 - £40,500 FTE (pro rata equivalent)

Hours: 18.5 per week

You will be working as part of an established team, who have exceptional facilities to enable students to have the very best learning experience which prepares them effectively for the working world.

We are seeking experienced HE Mechanical Engineering Lecturers who want to train the next generation to the very highest standards. In this role, you will educate and inspire students up to level 5 Mechanical Engineering fostering both their technical skills and professional growth.

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver up to Level 5 Mechanical Engineering Lessons
  • Design engaging lessons and learning materials
  • Provide tailored support and tutorials to help students progress
  • Take part in course development and quality improvement
  • Support recruitment and college events

What You’ll Need:

  • Experience teaching up to level 5 Mechanical Engineering (desirable)
  • HND/degree in mechanical engineering and 5-10 years industry experience
  • Cert. Ed/PGCE or willingness to obtain
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
  • A passion for the trade and for teaching others
