Assistant Retail Cook Location: West Midlands Salary: £27,900 per annum Hours: 40 hours per week Contract: Permanent Think FE are recruiting an Assistant Retail Cook for a supportive further education college in the West Midlands. You’ll prepare and serve hot and cold food across smaller catering outlets, maintain food hygiene and allergen standards, support stock control and deliveries, and keep service areas clean and organised. What do you need? Previous cooking or catering experience Good food hygiene and allergen knowledge Confidence working independently Level 2 Food Hygiene desirable Level 3 Catering qualification advantageous Barista or food retail experience beneficial The role includes 25 days’ annual leave plus 8 bank holidays. Occasional additional or weekend hours may be required for college events, with TOIL provided. An Enhanced DBS is required.
