An Ofsted-rated 'Good' college in Greater Manchester is seeking a dedicated Food & Drink Manufacturing Trainer Assessor to join its dynamic apprenticeship team. The college is recognised for its strong vocational training provision and its close collaboration with regional employers to ensure courses meet industry needs.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver and assess apprenticeship standards and professional qualifications from Level 2 to Level 4 in Food & Drink Manufacturing.
- Conduct workplace assessments, progress reviews, and set SMART targets and action plans for apprentices.
- Perform health and safety appraisals.
- Undertake Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) duties within an established team.
- Collaborate with employer partners and awarding bodies to develop and deliver an employer-led curriculum.
- Prepare apprentices for end-point assessments in line with industry standards.
An ideal candidate would have:
- Level 3 Teaching Qualification.
- Assessor Award.
- Degree in Food Manufacturing or Food Science.
- Level 4 HACCP Qualification.
However we will consider all candidates with experience in delivering or assessing HACCP and Food Safety Qualifications in any context.
