About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a well‑regarded college in Derbyshire for a dedicated Functional Skills Tutor to deliver high‑quality learning and support to further education students. This is a permanent, full‑time opportunity based at the college’s Eckington site.
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and inclusive Functional Skills sessions in Mathematics, English and ICT.
- Plan sessions that support progression, achievement and independent learning.
- Assess learner needs and provide feedback to help students develop confidence and competence.
- Contribute to curriculum development and programme improvement.
- Work collaboratively with teaching teams to support learner success and retention.
- Maintain accurate records and participate in quality assurance and course reviews.
What do you need
