You will help ensure learners receive an exceptional quality of education, with the support, challenge and encouragement they need to achieve and exceed their potential.
The role involves delivering high-quality teaching, learning and assessment, while helping to shape an engaging and inclusive curriculum that reflects both awarding body requirements and industry needs. You will set high expectations and aspirations across the provision, contributing to curriculum planning, quality improvement and learner outcomes. Working closely with colleagues and external partners, you will help create an outstanding learning experience that supports progression, confidence and achievement.
Key responsibilities:- Deliver engaging, inclusive and effective teaching, learning and assessment
- Support learners academically and pastorally to help them reach their full potential
- Contribute to curriculum design, development and continuous improvement
- Drive high expectations, aspirations and standards across games design and creative media provision
- Use quality assurance and improvement processes to enhance learner experience
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, curriculum teams and external partners
- Support successful learner outcomes through effective planning, monitoring and intervention
- A relevant teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one
- A minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject area
- Teaching experience within games design, creative media or a related curriculum area
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Experience of quality improvement and assurance processes, including internal verification
- Experience of successful course and curriculum development
- A strong track record of improving learner outcomes and quality of education
- The ability to motivate, inspire and support learners and colleagues
- A commitment to high standards, inclusion and learner progression
