We’re working with a well-regarded further education college in Greater London that is seeking a Catering Porter to support their on-site kitchen and catering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the day-to-day running of a busy college kitchen.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Washing utensils, cookware, dishes, and kitchen equipment
- Keeping kitchen surfaces, floors, and walls clean and sanitised
- Ensuring rubbish and food waste is properly disposed of
- Assisting chefs with basic food preparation if required
- Unloading and storing deliveries safely and hygienically
- Refilling supplies (e.g. hand soap, towels) and ensuring areas are stocked
- Supporting with general hygiene practices and safety procedures

- Previous experience in a similar role (education or catering environment preferred)
- A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Good communication and a strong work ethic
- Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work as part of a team
