Contract Details

  • Duration: 8 weeks, with potential to extend
  • Pay Rate: £25.00–£30.00 per hour + 12.07% holiday pay
  • Location: Primarily based on-site at the college, with some travel to employer locations
  • Hours: 4 days a week

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and support learners working towards their qualifications in Automotive
  • Provide feedback and maintain accurate records of learner progress
  • Travel to employer sites when required to carry out workplace assessments
  • Liaise with tutors, employers, and internal quality assurance teams

Requirements

  • Assessor Qualification (e.g., A1, TAQA, CAVA or equivalent)
  • Level 3 qualification in Automotive or similar vocational area
  • Prior experience working as an Assessor in further education or work-based learning
  • Driving licence and access to transport (due to potential site visits)
