A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and confident Cover Supervisor to join a high‑performing secondary school. This role is ideal for someone with previous classroom experience or a degree who is looking to develop a career in education. Many former Cover Supervisors have successfully progressed into teacher training.
The Role
- Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher
- Deliver pre‑prepared work and support pupils during lessons
- Provide feedback on behaviour and progress
- Manage classroom expectations in line with behaviour policies
- Support teachers with admin tasks when not covering lessons
What you will need
- Strong communication and classroom‑management skills
