LSAs Wanted

Flexible Temporary Roles Across EYFS, KS1 & KS2

We are expanding our pool of Learning Support Assistants for temporary roles in primary and nursery schools across the academic year. Schools contact us daily for a wide range of reasons: staff sickness, maternity cover, SEND funding allocations, new pupils joining mid-term, behaviour support, or additional classroom capacity during busy periods.

You will support:

  • 1:1 SEND pupils (ASD, SEMH, speech & language, learning delays)
  • Whole-class routines, transitions and learning activities
  • Small-group interventions
  • Children who need calm, consistent adults to help them regulate and engage

Assignments range from:

  • Daily supply
  • Short blocks (1-3 weeks)
  • Medium-term cover (half-term or term-long)
  • Long-term roles linked to EHCPs or ongoing SEND needs

Requirements:

To be considered for temporary LSA roles, you must have:

  • At least 40 days of classroom experience in a primary or SEND setting
  • Two school-based referees able to confirm this experience
  • A DBS certificate (Update Service preferred; new DBS can be processed if needed)
  • Flexibility to travel across Telford and/or Shropshire
  • Strong reliability, communication and a child-focused approach
