Are you an experienced Attendance Officer, Education Welfare Officer (EWO), Inclusion Officer or Pastoral Lead ready to take the next step? This is a rare opportunity to move into a strategic, cross school role where you’ll lead on attendance, inclusion and student engagement across a Multi Academy Trust, while still remaining hands on where it matters most. Each school already has an Attendance Officer in place; your role is to lead, support and enhance practice across both sites.

The Role: Attendance, Inclusion & Welfare

This is not a typical Attendance Officer role. You will take a Trust wide strategic lead on attendance, inclusion and pupil engagement, focusing on improving outcomes for students, particularly those at risk of persistent absence.

This role is perfect for someone who:

  • Is currently an Attendance Officer, Education Welfare Officer (EWO), Inclusion Officer or Pastoral Lead
  • Is ready to step into a broader, more strategic role across multiple schools
  • Enjoys working with attendance data, persistent absence and intervention planning
  • Is confident influencing staff and working with senior leaders
  • Still wants to remain hands on with students and families where needed
