Working closely with senior leaders, teaching staff, parents and external agencies, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring pupils with additional learning needs are fully supported to achieve their academic and personal potential. This position would suit an experienced SEND professional who is committed to inclusion, high standards and pupil-centred practice. The Role Key responsibilities include: * Leading and managing SEND provision across the Senior School. * Coordinating support for pupils with a range of additional learning needs. * Overseeing pupil assessments, learning plans and intervention programmes. * Managing Exam Access Arrangements in line with JCQ regulations. * Advising teaching staff on effective inclusive classroom strategies. * Working collaboratively with parents, pastoral teams and external professionals. * Monitoring pupil progress and evaluating the impact of SEND interventions. * Delivering training and guidance to staff to support inclusive practice. About You The successful candidate will: * Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). * Have substantial experience supporting pupils with SEND in a secondary setting. * Hold, or be working towards, the NASENCO or NPQ SENCO qualification. * Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills. * Have the ability to lead, motivate and develop colleagues. * Be committed to enabling every pupil to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
