Supporting children and young people with complex needs. A specialist setting supporting pupils with complex needs is seeking several dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join the team from September 2026. These roles are ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping children with additional needs thrive in a nurturing, structured and highly supportive environment.
Available Roles
- Full‑time SEN TA – (complex needs) Start: 1st September Duration: Until 18th December (with potential extension depending on 2:1 SEN funding)
- Full‑time SEN TA – (complex needs) Start: 1st September Duration: Full academic year (2:1 SEN funding)
- 2 x SEN TAs – Mondays only Start: 7th September Purpose: Covering staff days off
- 1 x SEN TA – Fridays only Start: 4th September Duration: Until 18th December Purpose: Covering a staff day off
What We’re Looking For
- Experience supporting children or young people with complex needs, physical disabilities, or medical requirements
- A calm, patient and nurturing approach
- Confidence supporting personal care and physical assistance
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Reliability, resilience and a genuine passion for helping pupils achieve their potential
- Open to candidates with or without a formal TA or SEN qualification
