THINK Recruitment are working with Bowel Research UK to recruit a brand new Community Fundraising Officer.
Thisbrand-new role to the charitywill focus on building strong relationships with supporters, donors and community fundraisers, providing excellent stewardship and helping people to engage with Bowel Research UK in ways that are meaningful to them.
The postholder will have responsibility for income generated through regular giving and community fundraising, as well as developing the charity’s in-memory giving programme. Working closely as part of the fundraising team, the Community Fundraising Officer will use their knowledge of supporters and communities to identify opportunities and share insights that can help shape wider fundraising activity.
The role will play a key part in delivering fundraising campaigns and activities throughout the year, supporting events and campaigns such as Bowel Cancer Awareness Month, and identifying opportunities to grow participation, income and supporter engagement.
The successful candidate for this role will be someone who is people-focused with effective relationship building skills and therefore able to connect with a wide range of supporters. An important element of this role is also focused around the CRM and data management, and the successful candidate will bring experience of working with CRM systems.
Bowel ResearchUKare a flexible employer, for this post they are looking for someone to be comfortable with joining the team in the London office one-two times a week. If the post holder would prefer to work more regularly from an officebase,the charity has office space atRoyal College of Surgeons in central London. Most team members work from here on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
