Overview

The Senior Campaign Manager plays a key role in managing the day-to-day planning, execution, and performance of integrated marketing campaigns for a global sports client within ALT’s Campaign Planning department. This role requires strong client servicing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality campaigns.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring smooth project delivery, and supporting the identification of growth opportunities within accounts. They will act as a central point of contact for clients while collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure campaigns are executed effectively and meet performance expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong working relationships with client contacts, acting as a key point of contact for campaign delivery, updates, and ongoing communication.
  • Campaign Delivery: Manage the end-to-end execution of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
  • Project Management: Coordinate internal and external teams (creative, media, analytics, production) to ensure seamless workflow, clear timelines, and effective delivery against client objectives.
  • Strategic Support: Support the development of campaign strategies by contributing insights, research, and recommendations aligned to client goals and market trends.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track campaign performance, compile reports, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimise results.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments and external partners to ensure consistency in messaging, execution, and overall campaign quality.
  • Commercial Awareness: Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling services, supporting senior team members in developing proposals where required.

Skills & Attributes

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5–7 years of experience in account management, campaign planning, or a related role within an agency or similar environment.
  • Client Management Skills: Proven ability to manage client relationships effectively, with a strong focus on service and delivery.
  • Organisational Skills: Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in presenting to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret campaign data and translate insights into practical recommendations.
  • Collaboration: A proactive team player who can work effectively across departments and contribute to a positive team environment.
