The practice is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant.

The Role

You will step into a well-run portfolio with a genuine handover and the autonomy expected at senior level. Responsibilities include:

  • Accounts preparation for sole traders and limited companies
  • Payroll (a key element of the role)
  • CIS returns
  • Pension scheme submissions
  • VAT returns
  • Supporting new client onboarding
  • Working across local offices when required

The role is heavily payroll-influenced, alongside accounts and client work.

About You

Minimum 5 years' experience within accountancy practice

  • Operating at Senior level (QBE or Qualified)
  • Strong SAGE experience (essential)
  • Strong payroll experience (essential)
  • CIS and pension scheme submission experience (highly desirable)
  • Comfortable managing work independently
  • Confident dealing directly with clients

(Practice experience is essential; industry-only backgrounds will not be suitable.)
