The Role
This is a true 50/50 Audit & Accounts role, giving you well-rounded exposure across a diverse client portfolio.
Accounts
- Prepare year-end statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies (UK GAAP).
- Produce monthly and quarterly management accounts, including journals, accruals, prepayments and variance analysis.
- Prepare VAT returns across multiple client portfolios.
- Assist with corporate and personal tax computations.
- Build strong client relationships, responding to queries and providing proactive support.
Audit
- Plan and deliver audit fieldwork across a varied client base.
- Prepare clear, high-quality audit working papers in line with audit standards.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements.
- Liaise directly with clients during on-site and remote audits.
- Identify risks and control weaknesses, contributing to practical recommendations.
