The Role
You’ll step into a well-run portfolio with a genuine handover and the autonomy expected at senior level. Responsibilities include:
- Accounts preparation for sole traders and limited companies
- Payroll (a key element of the role)
- CIS returns
- Pension scheme submissions
- VAT returns
- Supporting new client onboarding
- Working across local offices when required
The role is heavily payroll-influenced, alongside accounts and client work.
About You
- Minimum 5 years' experience within accountancy practice
- Operating at Senior level (QBE or Qualified)
- Strong SAGE experience (essential)
- Strong payroll experience (essential)
- CIS and pension scheme submission experience (highly desirable)
- Comfortable managing work independently
- Confident dealing directly with clients
(Practice experience is essential; industry-only backgrounds will not be suitable.)
