I am currently working with a highly respected independent accountancy practice in Dudley that has built an excellent reputation for delivering exceptional client service while maintaining a supportive, people-focused culture. As the firm continues to grow, we are looking to appoint an Accounts Senior who wants to be part of that journey. You will work closely with a varied portfolio of owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and entrepreneurial clients, building strong relationships and becoming a trusted adviser to the businesses you support.

The Role

As an Accounts Senior, you will take ownership of a portfolio of clients and be responsible for delivering high-quality accounting services while supporting the wider team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for a range of clients.
  • Preparing management accounts and financial information.
  • Reviewing bookkeeping and VAT work where required.
  • Managing client relationships and responding to queries.
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members.
  • Working closely with Managers and Partners on client assignments.
  • Identifying opportunities to add value and support clients' growth.

  • Previous experience working within an accountancy practice.
  • Strong accounts preparation experience.
  • ACA, ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience candidates considered.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
