Are you an experienced Management Accountant with a background in retail or hospitality? Our client, a dynamic business based in Borehamwood, is seeking a Management Accountant to support their finance team and play a vital role in driving financial performance.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing key financial statements
- Monitoring company performance
- Providing critical financial insights to senior management and non-financial stakeholders
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations
- Producing financial reports and variance analyses (actual vs. budget)
- Identifying financial risks and presenting findings to senior leadership
- Communicating key financial data to non-financial managers
- Managing the company's bank accounts
- Managing accounts receivable
- Generating statistical reports and performing financial analysis
- Supporting month-end and year-end audits
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar, varied Management Accountant role
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software
- A solid understanding of discounted cash flows
- Excellent bookkeeping knowledge
- Strong communication skills, particularly when liaising with non-financial stakeholders
