Beeston Shenton Solicitors is continuing to grow and is looking to appoint an experienced and client-focused Private Client Solicitor to join its highly regarded Wills, Probate and Estate Planning team. The Opportunity

This role will involve managing a varied and rewarding private client caseload across wills, probate and estate planning. You will advise clients with professionalism, empathy and sensitivity, often supporting individuals and families through significant life events and emotionally sensitive situations.

The caseload is expected to include:

  • Wills and estate planning
  • Probate and estate administration
  • Trusts and inheritance tax planning
  • Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Estate and succession planning
  • High-net-worth private client matters
  • Court of Protection matters (where appropriate)

You will also play an active role in developing client relationships, generating repeat business and supporting cross-referrals across the wider firm.

About You

The successful candidate will likely have:

  • 3+ years PQE within Private Client / Wills & Probate
  • Strong technical knowledge across private client matters
  • Experience managing a full caseload independently
  • Excellent client care and communication skills
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach
  • Commercial awareness and relationship-building ability
  • Strong organisational and drafting skills
  • STEP qualification (or working towards it) desirable
