The Role

You’ll work closely with the Cloud Manager and wider accounts team, supporting a varied portfolio of SME clients across bookkeeping, VAT and cloud accounting solutions.

Duties will include:

  • Bookkeeping to trial balance stage
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns
  • Managing bank reconciliations and bank feeds
  • Supporting clients with cloud accounting software
  • Training and demonstrating systems to clients
  • Working with Xero, QuickBooks, Hubdoc, AutoEntry and other cloud platforms
  • Assisting clients moving from traditional bookkeeping methods to cloud-based solutions

  • Previous bookkeeping experience within practice
  • Strong Xero experience is essential
  • Confident with double-entry bookkeeping and VAT
  • Good understanding of accruals, prepayments and depreciation
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
  • Full UK driving licence and access to transport
