Interim Financial Controller We're working with a growing construction business based in Leytonstone that is undergoing a significant finance transformation following the appointment of a new Fractional CFO.
This isn't a role for someone who simply produces management accounts.
We're looking for a technically strong Financial Controller who enjoys getting into the detail, solving problems and bringing order to a finance function.
If you're the type of person who thrives on investigating historic balances, reconciling complex accounts and leaving things in a far better place than you found them, we'd love to hear from you.
The business has historically produced quarterly management accounts, with limited monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
As part of a wider finance improvement programme, you'll take ownership of reviewing and reconciling the balance sheet, identifying historic issues and establishing robust financial controls.
You'll be working in a business with long-established processes, including paper-based records and legacy filing systems, so this role requires someone who is naturally inquisitive and resourceful.
There won't always be someone who can tell you the answer-you'll need to know how to find it.
