The Role
Options Management is seeking a Business Development Associate to play a key role in generating new opportunities, supporting the sales function and strengthening relationships with both new and existing customers. This is a varied, hands-on role combining outbound lead generation, CRM administration, sales support activity and external engagement. Working closely with the Sales Director, the successful candidate will help maximise appointment opportunities, identify cross-sell and upsell potential, and support the wider sales process from first contact through to proposal stage.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Appointment Setting
- Conduct outbound calls to new and existing clients.
- Follow up marketing campaigns and lead generation activity.
- Qualify prospects and book high-quality appointments for the Sales Director.
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within the existing customer base.
- Maintain professional, service-led conversations aligned with company values.
- CRM Management
- Maintain accurate records of leads, calls, appointments and outcomes.
- Ensure the sales pipeline is up to date and deadlines are tracked.
- Produce reports when required, including activity levels, lead sources and conversion rates.
- Sales & Business Support
- Assist with the preparation of quotes, proposals and tender documentation.
- Gather customer information and requirements ahead of meetings.
- Prepare follow-up correspondence and supporting documentation.
- External Engagement
- Attend local customer appointments alongside the Sales Director when required.
- Represent Options Management at exhibitions and networking events.
- Help build awareness of vending and hot drinks solutions within the region.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in B2B telemarketing, business development or sales support.
- Clear, confident and professional communication style.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable using CRM systems (training provided).
- Confident attending meetings and networking events.
- Strong written communication skills for follow-ups, quotes and tenders.
- Full UK driving licence.
