The Opportunity
You’ll take ownership of your own portfolio, becoming the trusted adviser your clients rely on while working closely with senior leadership on a variety of technical and commercial matters. You’ll also play a key role in developing junior members of the team, helping to shape the next generation of accountants while continuing to develop your own career. No two days are the same, giving you exposure to a broad range of industries and interesting client challenges.
Your Responsibilities
- Managing your own portfolio of clients and becoming their primary point of contact.
- Reviewing statutory accounts and corporation tax returns.
- Providing practical advice and support to owner-managed businesses.
- Building long-term relationships with clients and understanding their commercial goals.
- Supporting Directors on more complex advisory work.
- Reviewing work completed by junior members of the team and helping develop their careers.
- Assisting clients with improving financial processes, systems and controls.
- Supporting the continued growth and success of the accounts team.
About You
- ACA or ACCA qualified.
- Experienced within UK accountancy practice.
- Comfortable managing your own client portfolio.
- Commercially minded with excellent communication skills.
