We are currently representing a highly regarded independent Accountancy Practice looking to appoint a Tax Senior into their close-knit tax team. This is a genuinely great opportunity for somebody who enjoys variety, wants more autonomy in their role, and values working within a supportive environment where people are trusted to do their job properly.
You will report directly into the Directors and work closely alongside them across a broad range of personal and corporate tax matters, client support and advisory-led work. What really stood out from our conversations with the firm was the level of trust they place in their team. This is not a heavily layered or micromanaged environment. Instead, the Directors give people autonomy, involve them in client relationships and genuinely value their input across the wider tax function.
The Role
- Personal Tax
- Corporate Tax
- Tax Reviews
- Inheritance Tax exposure
- Client advisory support
- Working directly with the Directors
This is the type of role where you genuinely become part of the wider team rather than simply sitting in a silo completing compliance work.
What They’re Looking For
- Previous UK Practice tax experience
- Broad mixed tax exposure
- Somebody comfortable managing client relationships
- Reliable and organised approach
- A personable individual who enjoys working collaboratively
Why This Opportunity Stands Out
The interview process is intentionally relaxed and personality-driven. The Directors are far more interested in finding somebody genuine, capable and trustworthy than trying to catch candidates out technically. For the right person, this offers the chance to join a stable and supportive practice where you can continue developing whilst being given real trust and autonomy from day one. Confidential conversations welcome.
