What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll take ownership of full bookkeeping for a portfolio of client businesses, including:

  • Posting sales invoices, credit notes, and receipts
  • Analysing and processing purchase invoices and payments
  • Bank reconciliations and ledger reviews
  • Journal entries, petty cash, and credit card reconciliations
  • Producing customer statements and VAT returns
  • Understanding CIS for contractors and subcontractors
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers, HMRC, and other third parties

What You’ll Need:

  • Strong experience with bookkeeping software (Sage 50, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage Business Cloud)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience with bank feeds, Dext, and scanning software
  • Comfortable working to tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of HMRC VAT processes
  • Must have UK Practice experience
