Finance Manager (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract)

Contract: 12 Months | Full Time Join a Growing International Business We're partnering with a well-established international organisation to recruit two experienced Finance Managers on 12-month fixed-term contracts.

With one role offering fully remote working and the other based in Birmingham, these are excellent opportunities to join a dynamic finance function during an exciting period of growth and transformation.

Working closely with the Financial Controller and wider senior finance team, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering accurate financial reporting, driving month-end activities and supporting ongoing business integration projects.

This is a hands-on position suited to a qualified accountant who enjoys taking ownership, building strong relationships across the business and continually improving finance processes.

The Role As Finance Manager, you'll take responsibility for ensuring the integrity of financial reporting across multiple entities, delivering timely month-end reporting and supporting key strategic initiatives.

You'll be joining a collaborative finance team where you'll have the opportunity to influence processes, support business growth and work closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead key aspects of the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Own revenue reporting and provide detailed financial information to regional finance teams.
  • Manage intercompany billing, recharges and reconciliations across multiple entities.
  • Ensure all intercompany balances are fully reconciled and agreed each month.
  • Prepare detailed P&L variance analysis, identifying trends and explaining movements.
  • Complete and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and resolving reconciling items.
  • Support the integration of newly acquired businesses into finance processes.
  • Build strong working relationships with operational finance teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Assist with internal and external audit requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.
  • Provide wider support to the Financial Controller and finance leadership team as required.

About You We're looking for an experienced finance professional who combines strong technical accounting knowledge with excellent stakeholder management skills.

You'll ideally have

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
  • A minimum of three years' post-qualified experience.
  • Strong experience of month-end close and financial reporting.
  • Previous experience managing intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The confidence to work with senior stakeholders across the business.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail.
