We are currently representing a genuinely well-respected independent accountancy practice in the West Midlands that is looking to strengthen its Audit team with the appointment of an Audit Senior. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with clients, wants more autonomy, and is looking to join a firm where people are genuinely trusted and valued rather than just being another number within a larger structure. The firm has built an excellent reputation locally, with a loyal client base, long-standing staff retention, and ambitious growth plans. They are now looking to continue building a strong senior team around the directors to help support the next phase of growth.
The Role
The position will involve a mix of audit and accounts work, with responsibilities including:
- Leading audits from planning through to completion
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts
- Managing client relationships day-to-day
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
- Assisting with workload management across the team
- Working closely with the directors on client delivery

The ideal candidate will have:
- Recent UK accountancy practice experience
