The Role
We are hiring an Implementation Consultant to own the customer journey from the point a contract is signed through to a fully operational, validated Thingtrax deployment. This role sits within Customer Success and is the critical link between what has been sold and what gets delivered. You will take the baton from Sales and Pre-Sales, lead structured onboarding and discovery with the customer, manage the deployment project, and ensure the solution is embedded into the customer’s operation in a way that delivers lasting value. This is a manufacturing-first role. We are looking for someone who understands how food production environments work from the inside, the pressures, the constraints, the compliance requirements, and the people. You will use that knowledge to make our technology land well and stick. This is not a coding or engineering role. This is not a sales role. It is a structured, process-driven position requiring manufacturing credibility, strong project disciplines, and the ability to bring clarity and confidence to customers navigating a significant operational change.
Responsibilities
- Onboarding & Discovery
- Take ownership of new customers at contract signature and lead a structured handover from the Pre-Sales team
- Run discovery sessions with customer site teams to validate operational requirements, confirm solution scope, and align on success criteria
- Identify operational constraints, workflow dependencies, and change management considerations early in the process
- Set clear expectations with customers on timelines, milestones, and what good deployment looks like
- Project Management & Delivery
- Own the end-to-end implementation project from kickoff through to go-live and early-stage stabilisation
- Manage project scope, timelines, customer communications, and internal resource coordination
- Act as the primary customer point of contact throughout the delivery phase, building trust and maintaining momentum
- Coordinate with field engineers and technical teams to ensure on-site activities are planned and executed effectively
- Track project risk and proactively manage issues before they affect delivery confidence or customer satisfaction
- Solution Embedding & Validation
- Work with customers to embed the Thingtrax Vision AI solution into their operational workflows and standard procedures
- Apply lean and process improvement thinking to help customers redesign relevant quality, inspection, or compliance processes around the new solution
- Ensure trained models and configured solutions meet the agreed specification and operational requirements before sign-off
- Validate go-live readiness and support early-stage stabilisation until the solution is performing consistently
- Transition accounts into Business-As-Usual, handing over to the Client Success team with full documentation and context
- Process Improvement & Best Practice
- Develop and refine repeatable onboarding and implementation processes that scale as the business grows
- Capture lessons learned and feed insights back into Pre-Sales and Product to improve the end-to-end customer experience
- Identify opportunities for solution expansion or deeper adoption within customer sites
- Contribute to pre-sales activity where your manufacturing knowledge adds value, though this will not be the primary focus of the role
Objectives & Success Measures
Performance in this role is measured on delivery quality, customer confidence, and operational adoption. Key indicators include:
- Consistent on-time, in-scope project delivery
- Strong first-pass go-live performance with minimal rework
- High customer satisfaction at go-live and through early-stage operation
- Quality and completeness of handover documentation to the Client Success team
- Reduction in post-deployment escalations linked to implementation gaps
- Customer adoption and process embedding, not just technical deployment
Manufacturing credibility, structured project thinking, and a process improvement mindset are more important than technical depth.
Join the Thingtrax team today and be a part of revolutionizing the manufacturing industry with innovative productivity solutions!
