Overview
ThingCo is an insurtech company, focused on developing next generation telematics for the insurance and mobility markets. ThingCo has built a suite of revolutionary B2B and B2B products and services to address the weaknesses in the current marketplace using ThingCos deep understanding of telematics.
Key responsibilities include working as part of the platform support team, maintaining cloud solutions for multiple client projects (development and live environments), and providing technical support across teams.
Responsibilities
- Participate as a member of the platform support team
- Support and maintain cloud solutions required by multiple client projects, both during development and when live
- Prepare and execute device tests
- Support, modify and maintain 3rd party technologies to software solutions of medium to moderate complexity
- Provide technical support to Customer Support teams
- Resolution of calls ranging from simple password resets to complex system queries
- Escalation of calls to Development Team as necessary
- Provide company-wide IT support

- Learn technical content that aligns to and is relevant to employers and the market
- Gain an Azure Fundamentals qualification and a Microsoft 365 fundamentals qualification
- Get an introduction to Windows, Linux and PowerShell

Tools and technologies learned: Learners will learn to use Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows 10, AWS, Linux, PowerShell.
