Packing Operative – Weekend Shift
THH Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing business, currently seeking Packing Operatives to join their busy Packing & Collating Department.
Day Shifts - 6am-4pm
We have vacancies available on the sporadic weekend shift, which runs Saturday, Sunday 6:00am to 4:00pm.
Night shift - 10pm-6am (sometimes 6pm-6am)
There is also the option to work Friday and Saturday only for those looking for fewer days.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in accuracy and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pack, collate, and finish products following detailed job instructions.
- Check printed materials for defects (such as smears or errors) and promptly report any issues to your Supervisor.
- Complete all documentation related to packing and fulfilment processes.
- Operate packing, finishing, and fulfilment equipment (full training provided).
- Pack goods securely to prevent damage during transit, ensuring customer specifications are met.
- Work efficiently to achieve daily production targets.
- What We’re Looking For
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- Previous packing or fulfilment experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work well under pressure.
- Flexible and willing to support different tasks as needed.
- Comfortable working to deadlines.
- Immediate availability is essential.
