As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Technical Co-Ordinator to play a key role in maintaining our food safety, quality and compliance standards while supporting exciting new product launches and continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

What impact will I make?
As Technical Co-Ordinator, you'll help ensure our quality and food safety systems remain robust, compliant and audit-ready by:
- Maintaining and continuously improving quality management documentation, including procedures, work instructions, packing specifications and factory paperwork.
- Planning, co-ordinating and executing the Environmental Monitoring Programme (EMP), including microbiological trend analysis and investigation activities.
- Managing customer complaints from investigation through to corrective actions and closure, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Raising, managing and supporting the closure of supplier and internal Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), ensuring effective root cause analysis and preventative actions.
- Supporting new product launches by creating accurate factory documentation and co-ordinating technical activities to ensure successful implementation.
- Managing customer compliance requirements and supporting onboarding activities for key customer accounts.
- Supporting the day-to-day operation of the Technical team, helping to prioritise workloads and drive performance against Technical KPIs.
- Contributing to internal audits, traceability exercises, mock recalls and supporting customer, third-party and regulatory audits.
What will help me succeed?
We're looking for someone who combines strong technical knowledge with excellent organisation and communication skills. You'll ideally have:
- Experience within a Technical, Quality Assurance or Food Safety role in a food or beverage manufacturing environment.
- A good understanding of HACCP principles and their practical application within manufacturing.
- Experience working with quality management systems and food safety standards.
- Knowledge of BRC standards, food legislation, Trading Standards requirements and customer Codes of Practice.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and confidence managing technical documentation and data.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong investigation and problem-solving skills with experience supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- The confidence to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels across the business.
- A proactive approach and genuine passion for food safety, quality and continuous improvement.
Nice to have
- Experience using laboratory management systems.
- Previous experience supporting environmental monitoring programmes and microbiological trending.
- Experience managing customer complaints and non-conformance processes.
- Exposure to new product development, product launches or customer onboarding activities.
- Experience supporting or participating in third-party, customer or regulatory audits.
- Previous experience providing guidance or support to Technical or QA team members.
