Overview
The planning function is responsible for supporting one of the fastest growing sports nutrition brands in the world. There is a great opportunity to take ownership of, and make improvements to, key processes within supply chain. The fast‑paced THG environment provides an opportunity to get involved with a wide range of interesting projects.
Summary of Position
Touch point for the supply team on the ground in our Warrington warehouse, responsible for liaising with suppliers and inbound teams to schedule warehouse deliveries within agreed capacities. Completing reviews of delivery and invoicing discrepancies. Implementing continuous improvement practices to assist with supply and operational challenges.
Responsibilities
- Prioritise relevant supplier deliveries into the warehouse goods‑in schedule based on their urgency for sales needs.
- Work closely with warehouse management to review inbound plans on a weekly basis and generate long‑term forecasts to assist them with capacity planning.
- Collaborate with Finance, Suppliers, Operations and the supply team regarding receipts management process with a view to reducing PO/invoicing issues.
Qualifications
- Strong numerical and reporting skills applied in Excel, SQL desirable.
- Ability to work independently, use initiative and maintain attention to detail.
- Supply chain/commercial background desirable.
- An understanding of e‑commerce desirable.
