Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the Customer & Shopper Marketing Strategy, aligning brand plans with relevant channels to create a clear shopper engagement vision across Europe, with a primary focus on the UK.
- Work closely with UK & EU commercial teams to influence strategic decisions, drive growth and ROI through the development and execution of annual shopper marketing plans and budgets.
- Collaborate with the brand, product, and sales teams to ensure cohesive and fully maximised marketing plans, including input into the NPD process.
- Build strong peer‑to‑peer relationships with key retail partners, creating plans encompassing range, merchandising, NPD, and promotional activities.
- Oversee the effective execution of in‑store and online promotional activities, ensuring efficient implementation and maximised impact.
- Leverage understanding of consumer and shopper behaviour to shape the brand strategy and champion excellence in execution.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in shopper marketing across multiple environments.
- Proven ability to manage and monitor budgets to ensure maximum ROI for shopper marketing activities.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both internal and external, to build robust working relationships.
- Experience in developing and executing category management plans.
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Creative thinker with an eye for innovation and new ideas.
- Experience supporting commercial retail teams and influencing strategic decisions.
