Role Overview

Reporting to: Quality Manager

Responsibilities

  • Conduct GMP and fabrication audits and report adherence to QM policies and procedures.
  • Perform glass and brittle plastic audits.
  • Collect micro samples according to the schedule (water, hygiene swabs, finished products).
  • Collect, check and file all daily production and QA check sheets.
  • Carry out daily label checks to ensure traceability.
  • Calibrate weighing scales.
  • Carry out temperature and quality checks.
  • Update and maintain accurate Quality Management documentation records.
  • Handle internal enquiries and, where needed, raise escalations within the team.
  • Centrally file and archive a wide range of documentation, including reports, investigations and other quality documents.
  • Act as part of the internal auditing team.
  • Issue Certificates of Analysis/Conformities where required.

Qualifications

  • Effective communication skills, including listening, influencing and persuading at all levels.
  • Excellent time‑management.
  • Experience in a food manufacturing environment is desirable.
  • Flexibility regarding working hours to meet business needs.
  • Confident PC skills.
  • HACCP training (desired).
  • Two or more years of Quality Assurance experience.
