Plan and create engaging content across various platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X and YouTube. Conduct thorough market research to identify target audiences, industry trends, and competitor activities. Collaborate with marketing and content teams to integrate social media plans with overall marketing campaigns. Plan and schedule content across social media platforms, ensuring consistent brand messaging. Create engaging and shareable content, including text, images, and videos. Manage the day-to-day execution of social media campaigns, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Create compelling and visually appealing content - from phone-shot content on shoots with our ambassadors, to editing Instagram Story templates promoting a new product, to briefing videographers on higher productions. Editing videos to optimise performance for each social media platform. Generate ideas that align with our brand's tone of voice and values. Collaborate with the influencer team to activate our ambassadors and drive engagement. Identify new opportunities to increase Myprotein's reach across social media, including spotting new influencers, publishers and channels to collaborate with.
Monitor and analyse social media performance metrics and KPIs to improve content and engagement. Manage social media communities and respond to customer inquiries and feedback. Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure that Myprotein is at the forefront of social media innovation.
Requirements:
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Executive or similar role
- Expertise in social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and others
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Proficiency in Adobe suite, including Photoshop and After Effects
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to inform decision-making
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Experience using third party publishing and analytics tools is a plus
- A knowledge of the brand and passion for health, fitness, and nutrition - especially in weight lifting and hybrid training - is a plus.
