About the Role
Reporting to the Reception Supervisor, the Front of House Receptionist will be the face of the business for visiting colleagues and guests and be responsible for leaving a great first impression. A passion for exceptional customer service delivery is a must, along with an ability to multi-task while creating a warm and welcoming environment.
- Greeting and welcoming guests, visitors and colleagues, providing an exceptional experience when first arriving to ICON Office / Studios.
- Ensuring that access controls are maintained across THG ICON Office and Studios.
- Providing information on site layout and directions.
- Scheduling appointments, dealing with enquiries and administrative tasks.
- Ensuring the reception area is clean, comfortable, tidy, presentable, and welcoming.
- Providing outstanding customer service and ensuring a pleasant visit for all visitors.
- Opening and closing reception.
- Helping visitors access the car park and liaising with other stakeholders required.
- Assisting visitors/contractors, deliveries accessing the site via the gatehouse to delivery, liaising with security for access where required.
- Meeting and greeting site visitors in reception, signing them in and out.
- Locating the appropriate contact person and notifying them of the guests’ arrival via email, Teams, and telephone.
- Liaising with security teams, providing and logging temporary site access cards for contractors and visitors.
- Assisting with access within the building (escorting, opening doors).
- Scanning, sorting, and filing documents used in reception as per company policy.
- Accepting, sorting, and storing and notifying of deliveries where required.
- Printing, scanning and laminating materials.
- Creating and printing internal staff communications.
- Assisting with VIP visits.
- Overseeing reception supplies, stationery and inventory.
