Why be a Social Commerce Executive at THG Beauty?
TikTok Shop is one of the fastest-growing channels in beauty commerce, and Cult Beauty is building something exciting on it. This is a newly created role sitting within the Ecommerce team, reporting to the Senior Ecommerce Manager. You'll be the day-to-day owner of Cult Beauty's TikTok Shop — managing our affiliate programme, growing our product catalogue, coordinating campaigns, and working closely with paid, merch, and trading teams to make TTS a serious commercial channel for the business. It's a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who is genuinely excited by social commerce, understands how TikTok Shop works (or is determined to learn it fast), and wants to build something from the ground up at one of the UK's most loved beauty destinations.
As Social Commerce Executive you’ll:
- Affiliate programme management
- Recruit, vet and onboard new affiliate talent across the TikTok Shop creator marketplace
- Manage existing affiliate relationships — briefing creators ahead of NPD launches, edits and key trading moments
- Set and optimise commission structures across open and targeted collaboration plans
- Identify top-performing creators and develop tiered incentive programmes to retain and reward them
- Monitor affiliate content quality and provide feedback to drive better-performing videos
- Coordinate affiliate activity around key campaign moments throughout the trading calendar
- Product catalogue
- Ensure all NPD goes live on TikTok Shop at or before site launch, working closely with trading and merch teams
- Grow and maintain our live product catalogue, aligning with merch on assortment strategy
- Maintain accurate product listings, pricing, descriptions and imagery
- Monitor listing performance and identify opportunities to improve conversion
- Campaign coordination and trading
- Be the day-to-day contact with the TikTok Shop platform team, setting up and managing campaign participation
- Coordinate TTS campaign timing with the site trading calendar, aligning promotional moments and activity
- Manage clearance and sale SKUs on TTS in coordination with merch and trading teams
- Brief affiliates on promotable SKUs to drive commission-led content at the right commercial moments
- Performance and reporting
- Support weekly TTS performance reporting, tracking key metrics including GMV, orders, AOV, new buyers and affiliate contribution
- Use TTS Seller Centre tools to help identify trending products and surface insights to inform content and trading decisions
- Monitor affiliate performance by creator and flag key findings to the Senior Ecommerce Manager
- Provide regular, clear updates on TTS activity, with support and guidance from the wider ecommerce team
- Paid support
- Work closely with the Senior Paid Manager to coordinate GMV Max activity on top-performing affiliate content
- Brief the paid team on organic content performance to support prioritisation of amplification spend
- Ensure paid campaigns are set up and optimised ahead of key TTS trading moments
- Supporting the wider ecommerce team
- As part of the Cult Beauty ecommerce team, you'll be expected to support with broader ecommerce activity where needed — whether that's contributing to trading conversations, helping with ad hoc projects, or collaborating with colleagues across paid, trading and merchandising
- Live commerce — future opportunity
- Support the exploration and development of a TikTok Shop Live strategy
- Work with influencer and talent contacts to identify and brief Live hosts
- Help build out what a regular Live cadence could look like for Cult Beauty
