As Interim Team Leader, you'll:
- Lead investigations into any incidents, accidents, or non‑conformities, completing all associated reporting and ensuring corrective actions are implemented and closed.
- Guarantee full adherence to all quality and food safety standards, ensuring team members follow defined manufacturing procedures.
- Ensure all production records are completed appropriately, and systems are functioning correctly to support quality audits.
- Oversee the clear identification and segregation of non‑conforming materials, ensuring the escalation procedure for quality concerns is followed promptly.
- Champion and ensure full adherence to 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) practices.
- Communicate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) so that each employee is aware of expectations and deliverables, and report on performance to the management team.
- Act as the primary point of product expertise within the team, responding to operator queries and working positively with support functions.
- Liaise and communicate effectively with other departments, such as Production Scheduling and Quality Assurance, to ensure a smooth operational flow.
- Consistently promote high standards through personal example, ensuring each team member understands the standards and behaviours expected of them.
- Support, comply, and ensure complicity with the Company Handbook, Quality and Environmental standards, and all other Company policies and procedures.
