As an App Marketing Manager you’ll:
- Marketing Strategy & Planning: Develop and lead the marketing strategy for the Myprotein app, including acquisition, retention, and engagement initiatives to drive app downloads, usage, and customer loyalty.
- Campaign Development: Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across various channels (in-app, email, push notifications, social media, paid ads, etc.) to drive app growth and enhance customer experience.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including product, CRM, ecommerce, and content, to ensure alignment on key objectives, optimise app performance, and identify new growth opportunities.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Utilise app performance data and analytics to measure campaign effectiveness, user behaviour, and engagement, continuously optimising strategies for maximum ROI.
- User Engagement & Retention: Develop and manage lifecycle marketing strategies (onboarding, retention, win-back) tailored to different user segments to drive long-term engagement.
- Performance Monitoring: Own key performance metrics for app marketing efforts, including download rates, engagement, retention, and customer lifetime value (LTV). Report on the success of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Innovation & Testing: Stay on top of emerging trends in mobile marketing, app store optimisation (ASO), and technology to continuously improve and innovate within the app marketing space.
What skills & experience do I need for this role?
- Proven experience in marketing strategy development and execution, particularly in digital and mobile app marketing is a plus.
- Strong understanding of the mobile marketing ecosystem, including user acquisition, in-app engagement, app store optimisation (ASO), and app monetisation.
- Experience in managing and optimising campaigns across multiple channels (email, push notifications, social media, paid media, influencer marketing, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve performance.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in using marketing tools, platforms, and analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Apptweak, Tableau and mobile attribution platforms like AppsFlyer) to drive app performance.
- Familiarity with app performance KPIs and user segmentation strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, with experience in mobile app marketing being highly desirable.
- Experience working in e-commerce, fitness, or nutrition brands is a plus.
