About Finance at THG

Finance at THG is a dynamic team covering accounts receivable, payable, treasury, tax, internal audit, and dedicated commercial teams across divisions: Beauty, Tech, Consumer, Health, and Brands. As THG grows, our finance team supports every step, driving change, adaptability, and maintaining financial control and profitability.

Why be an Accounts Payable Associate at THG?

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Leader, your primary responsibility will be to process supplier invoices according to company policy and ensure a right first-time approach. You will manage supplier accounts, provide excellent customer service, and act as a subject matter expert on supplier invoices, ensuring compliance with procedures and audit requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a designated portfolio of supplier accounts.
  • Ensure timely receipt and recording of invoices via Procure platform or manual processing.
  • Manage 3-way match processes using relevant databases and systems.
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Reconcile supplier accounts regularly, at least monthly.
  • Request missing supplier documents and ensure proper capture in the system.
  • Resolve payment disputes and short payments.
  • Ensure correct allocation of invoices, credit notes, and payments.
  • Monitor unposted invoices and review unmatched GRNI reports.
  • Complete weekly GRNI account reconciliations for manager review.

Skills and Experience Needed:

  • Finance-related qualification (degree/AAT/ACCA/CIMA) or at least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Ability to act as SME for accounts payable.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages (Polish, Swedish, German, French) are a plus.
  • Proficient in Office IT, especially MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of Sage or other ERP systems.
  • Positive attitude with a focus on customer service.
