Setting Out Engineers Required - West London - 300 - 350 per day - Projects Valued 15m - 30m.
We are currently working with a well-established groundworks and civil engineering contractor delivering large groundwork and infrastructure schemes across London. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint Setting Out Engineers to support the delivery of multiple projects ranging from 15m to 30m groundwork packages. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business with a strong pipeline of work and long-term project stability.
Role Description:
- Liaising with site team and main contractors.
- Good man management and interpersonal skills and able to lead when required.
- Forward thinking, innovative and problem solving.
- Topographical Surveys and producing As-Built surveys to a high standard.
- Previous experience in setting out infrastructure works including roads and drainage, RC ground beams and pile caps and civils construction in general.
- Use of GPS and total station equipment (TS16).
- Raising Technical Queries (RFI) and Verbal Instructions (CVI).
- Responsible for Quality Inspections and checks.
- Understanding of Inspection.
