A leading Civil Engineering contractor in London is searching for a Managing Engineer to take full responsibility for engineering delivery across multiple major projects. This is an opportunity for an experienced Senior engineer who is confident managing others, driving engineering standards, and ensuring technical excellence across complex, high-value schemes.

The Role

  • You will lead and oversee engineering teams across 5-6 live civil engineering projects, ensuring:
    • Accurate setting-out and technical compliance
    • Engineering teams are managed, supported, and performing
    • QA, documentation, and best practice are consistently delivered
    • Close collaboration with Project / Contract Managers and operational leads
    • Problem-solving and technical challenges are resolved quickly
    • Projects remain on programme and delivered safely
