We have over 400 talented individuals working across our sites in Trowbridge and Frome – including a state-of-the-art laboratory and 78,000 square foot ever-growing manufacturing site

We are now searching for a positive and pro-active Line Setter to join our fast-paced Line Setter Team at our Frome site on a full-time basis.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 5.45am-2.45pm & 1.15pm-10.15pm (Shift Rotation)

Salary: £34,795

Responsibilities

This role is essential in ensuring efficient line changeovers, maintaining machinery performance and supporting continuous improvement across our operations.

• Preform full line changeovers for tube lines and support additional lines as trained.
• Prepare changeover parts and paperwork in advance to minimise downtime.
• Complete safety checks before machine operation and respond to breakdowns.
• Record changeover data and provide clear shift handovers via email.
• Identify machine-related quality issues and report findings.
• Support fill trials, FAT activities, and general production tasks as required.
• Communicate positively with colleagues and follow all health & safety procedures, reporting any hazards immediately.

Requirements

• Knowledge of machine programming for tube lines (training provided for other lines).
• Strong planning, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings and understand machine functions.
• Comfortable using small hand tools, power tools, and pallet trucks.
• Basic Office 365 skills; good numeracy and handwriting.
• Ability to select correct change parts and work safety at height.
• Self-disciplined, eager to learn, and able to work well within a team.
